with a booking system for holiday cabins
Website design and a custom online booking system for the owners of two luxury log cabins in Huba near Czorsztyn. A multilingual site in three languages (PL/EN/DE), zero booking commission, no monthly fee for any external platform.
Challenge
What Huba Home needed
Paulina and Marcin rent out two log cabins with a view of the Tatras and a private SPA. They were taking bookings by phone and social media. They needed a site that looks as good as their place and accepts bookings automatically, without middlemen and without commission.
Marcin comes from Germany. The site had to work in Polish, English and German.

Designed from scratch. A consistent visual identity: a serif typeface, gold and graphite, atmospheric photos. Every element leads to one goal: a booking.

Multilingual PL / EN / DE
A custom translation system without external plugins. The language switcher works without reloading the page. Adding new content = one entry in three languages, no touching the code.
Technology
Technology and security
Pure HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP, no frameworks, no dependencies that might break in a year. Booking data on the client's server.
Security
Brute-force protection, CSRF tokens, XSS safeguards, enforced HTTPS, sensitive files blocked via .htaccess.
Performance
WebP, lazy loading, gzip, browser cache. The site loads in a fraction of a second.
Data at the client
Bookings are stored on the client's server, no external databases and no SaaS lock-in.
Clean code
HTML, CSS, JS and PHP, no frameworks and no external dependencies. Zero risk that something breaks after a plugin update.
E-mail notifications
Automatic e-mails to the guest and the owner on every booking, approval and cancellation.
Multilingual
A custom i18n system without external plugins. PL, EN, DE. Switching without reloading the page.
