360° tour Restaurant Powiśle, Warsaw

360° virtual tour for an original ramen bar,
YOI Ramen on Powiśle

YOI Ramen is an original ramen bar in the heart of Warsaw\'s Powiśle district, in the prestigious Elektrownia Powiśle at Dobra 40. The brand is strong (Google profile 4.6 from 263 reviews, average bill 40-60 PLN per person), but in a food hall with dozens of concepts you have only a few seconds to win a hungry guest, and the one element that makes a profile stand out on the map was still missing. That is why we delivered an Express 24h tour with a spatial scanner after hours: the tour was live on the Google profile within 22 hours of the session ending.

About the venue

An original ramen bar in Elektrownia Powiśle

YOI Ramen operates at Dobra 40 in the prestigious Elektrownia Powiśle, one of the most recognisable dining destinations in Warsaw. It is a food hall with dozens of original concepts, visited daily by Warsaw locals, employees of nearby offices and tourists. Competition for the guest\'s attention here is exceptionally dense.

Ramen in central Warsaw has been a trendy choice for several years. The venue has a strong brand: 4.6 from 263 Google reviews, average bill 40-60 PLN per person, reservations via mojstolik.pl, options for dine-in, takeaway and delivery. Guests are there, but one element was missing: a 360° tour on the Google profile, which boosts the appeal of the listing in map search results.

Industry specifics

Four reasons why ramen needs a tour

Ramen is not a regular restaurant, it is an experience. The customer chooses a venue not only by the menu, but above all by the atmosphere. A 360° tour solves four specific problems that a static photo gallery will not address:

1. Atmosphere ≠ menu

Ramen is theatre, not fast food

A customer looking for good ramen checks two things: whether the broth is simmered for 12 hours (reviews) and whether the venue has character. The bar atmosphere, wooden tables, warm light. A tour shows it instantly, a static photo shows a fragment.

2. Guests dine alone

Solo dining requires comfort

A large share of ramen-bar customers order solo, on the way to work or after. The solo guest checks on Google Maps whether the bar has seats at the counter, whether they will not feel out of place. A tour shows the layout, solo seats, the atmosphere of a single-person visit, a static photo will not do that.

3. Lunch decision in 30 seconds

Competition in the food hall

Elektrownia Powiśle has dozens of food concepts. A nearby office worker at 12:30 has 30 seconds to choose. A 360° tour on the YOI Ramen profile gives the guest full context right away, before they go to a competitor with stock photos from the internet.

4. Tourists look for authenticity

Powiśle = a tourist destination

Powiśle is not only office buildings. Guests from other cities and foreign tourists search for "authentic ramen Warsaw", they want to see this is not a chain clone. A tour shows craft details, bowls, the bar layout, Japanese decor elements that make the difference for a tourist\'s decision.

Challenge

Competition in Elektrownia Powiśle, a fight for the first click

Elektrownia Powiśle is not a single venue, but a whole food hall in which dozens of dining concepts compete for the guest\'s attention. Guests searching for "ramen Warsaw Powiśle", "Japanese restaurant central Warsaw" or simply "what to eat Elektrownia Powiśle" see a row of similar offers in Google Maps.

The decision is made in the first 10-15 seconds of browsing a listing. Photos, rating, opening hours and options (dine-in, takeaway, delivery) have to impress. The photo carousel on Google Maps has one powerful differentiator: the 360° icon on the first image of the tour. The guest sees it instantly, clicks and steps inside without leaving the map. This is the moment when a venue with a tour beats five similar competitors.

YOI Ramen had a strong brand (4.6 from 263 reviews), an active profile and all Google gastro features (reservations, takeaway, delivery). One element was missing, one that most of the food-hall competition still skips: a 360° tour.

Solution

Express Tour 24h, 6 panoramas, after-hours session

The session was carried out with a spatial scanner after the venue\'s opening hours, so as not to interfere with guests. The scanner generates spherical panoramas right after the session, postproduction is automatic, so the tour reaches the Google profile the next day. The ramen bar\'s decor with even lighting needs no manual HDR retouch, which is why the fast Express workflow delivers a result close to Premium here, at a lower cost.

Scope of work

  • Scan of 6 360° panoramas in the venue (main room, bar, lounge area)
  • Spatial LiDAR scanner, after-hours session
  • Automatic postproduction and white balance correction
  • Session after closing, no staff in the frame
  • Stitching panoramas into a coherent tour path
  • Publication on the Google Maps Street View profile
  • Embed code for the tour on the client\'s website

After-hours session

The session takes place after the venue closes, with no staff or guests in the frame. No need to sign GDPR consents with employees, because they are not visible in the tour.

24h from session to publication

tour live on the profile within 22 hours of the session

Process

Session step by step, from booking to publication

The full delivery is 3-4 business days from the moment the session is booked. The on-site scanner session lasts about 30 minutes (after hours or before opening). Postproduction is automatic, the tour is live on the Google profile within 22 hours of the session ending.

  1. D 0

    15-minute brief, by phone

A short call: how many rooms we show, whether the interiors split into 2 zones (bar + dining room), when the venue is empty (after 22:00 or before 11:00). We agree on the session date, the package and the payment method.

  2. D 1

    Scanner session, about 30 minutes

I arrive with a spatial LiDAR scanner on a tripod. I select 6 key points: entrance, bar, main room, guest table, lounge area, details. Each point is a full 360° in a few dozen seconds. Empty venue, no staff in the frame.

  3. D 2

    Automatic postproduction

The scanner generates spherical panoramas right after the session. My manual quality-control check: verifying that the panoramas are complete, correcting white balance, adding navigation points between rooms. No manual exposure stitching, because the ramen bar\'s decor needs no HDR retouch.

  4. D 3

    Publication on Google Maps

Upload via Street View Studio to the YOI Ramen profile. Stitching panoramas into a coherent tour path (the guest can move between panoramas by clicking the navigation dots). The tour appears in the photo carousel of the Google profile.

  5. D 4

    Embedding on the website

Generating an embed iframe from Google Maps. The client receives ready code to embed the tour on their website as an interactive element (click play, watch without leaving the page). No monthly fees, hosting on Google\'s side.

Full delivery: 3-4 business days from D0 (brief) to D4 (embedding on the site). The client does not have to do anything except let me into the venue after hours.

Results

A fresh publication,
the tour is already on the Google profile

What can you expect from a tour like this? It is best shown by Masala Wrocław, where the tour reached 25,000 Google profile views in the first 2 months after publishing, which works out to about 7 grosz per view. The YOI Ramen tour is fresh (May 2026), so its hard data such as Google profile views will be visible in 2-3 months. The tour works without updates or a subscription, so every following month adds views at no extra cost.

What already works

  • Tour visible in the photo carousel of the Google profile
  • 360° icon on the first image of the listing
  • Controls identical to those on every profile
  • Tour embedded on ramenyoi.pl (optional)
  • Hosted on Google infrastructure, zero costs

What will show in 2-3 months

  • Growth of profile views in Google Maps
  • Higher number of clicks in the photo carousel
  • More clicks on "directions" and "call"
  • Higher position in the Local Pack for local phrases
  • Data available to the client in Google Business Profile Insights

Conversion mechanic: A guest searches for "ramen Warsaw Powiśle" in Google Maps. They see YOI Ramen in the Local Pack. They open the profile. In the photo carousel, the 360° icon. They click. They rotate inside the panorama, they see the bar, the tables, the atmosphere. They make a decision without leaving the map. Decision cycle cut to 30 seconds.

Publication in 24h

Automatic postproduction, white balance correction and stitching points into a tour. The tour is live on the Google profile within 22 hours of the session ending.
