360° tour · hair salon and barbershop The client checks the atmosphere before she books her first cut

A 360° tour for a salon,
that sells the interior.

A client looking for a new hairdresser views the salon on Google, checks the decor, cleanliness and atmosphere. A 360° tour shows the workstations, the wash area and the character of the place that phone photos will not show. It builds trust, increases the number of first visits and lifts you in local Google results.

Four salon problems,
that a 360° tour solves.

A client picks a hairdresser on Google, judging the decor and atmosphere. Four situations where the lack of a tour costs you first bookings, especially in upmarket salons.

See a 360° tour in a salon,
the barbershop example.

This is how we showed the Clan Barbers barbershop in Warsaw. Click play and look around the interior chair by chair. We will show your hair salon or barbershop to the same standard, clients will view the place on Google Maps before they book.

Two ways to do a 360° tour,
a fast scan or premium.

I can cover the same salon with a fast scan (Express 360° in 24h, ready the next day) or a full DSLR session (Premium tour, top quality for a salon with original decor). Pick the variant matched to your budget and the character of the salon, full scopes and panoramas on the dedicated pages.

Questions about the salon tour,
that I hear most often.

01 / 05 What does a session at the salon look like and how long does it take?

A session takes 30-60 minutes. I arrive at the time that suits you, most often before the first morning client or during the lunch break. I set up and pack the photo gear myself, the salon does not have to stop working.

02 / 05 How much time do you need on site?

Mini package (up to 3 panoramas), 30 minutes. Standard (up to 8 panoramas), 45-60 minutes. Premium (up to 15 panoramas), 90 minutes. The salon needs a window between clients, most often in the morning before opening.

03 / 05 Do clients and staff have to vanish from the frame?

They do not. To retouch people out of 360° photos we use AI-assisted tools, so we remove people from the panoramas quickly and without traces. The salon can work during the session, and we clean up the frames in post-production.

04 / 05 What about the clients' GDPR rights in the salon?

People in the frame are removed from the panoramas in post-production, so the final tour shows no recognisable faces. Nobody needs to sign a consent. If you specifically want to show a client during a treatment (the atmosphere of relaxation), then consents from the people in the frame are required.

05 / 05 Does the tour go straight onto my Google Business Profile?

Yes. I publish the tour on your Google Business Profile via Street View Studio. The tour appears on the profile within 24-48h of the session. You also get a link to embed on the salon's website.

360° tours for hair salons and barbershops in Poland

A hair salon or barbershop competes with many similar places within a few streets. The atmosphere of the interior often decides whether a client books a visit with you or with a competitor at the same price a little further away. A 360° tour shows the interior, the styling, the atmosphere, the cleanliness and how modern the workstations are.

Why a 360 tour works in salons

Three things matter in the beauty industry. First: atmosphere can matter more than price. A client deciding on a new salon does not quibble over a 20 PLN difference if the interior conveys cleanliness and professionalism. Second: looks are part of the product, the client buys the experience of the visit, not just the cut. Third: Google reviews and photos largely settle the booking decision, and a 360° tour reinforces both signals.

Packages for salons in major cities

Looking for a specific city plus industry combination? We have dedicated pages for beauty salons (hair, cosmetic, barber), with local examples and prices:

Tour + booking system without commission (alternative to Booksy)

Most salons pay the monthly Booksy subscription plus a commission on new clients. Lokal360 builds an own booking system for salons from 3,999 PLN net one-time, no subscription, with full ownership of the client base. Bundled with a 360 tour and a new website, you have a complete marketing toolkit.

The full 5-year calculation: alternative to Booksy 2026, your own system without commission for 3,999 PLN. For beauty salons see also Tour for a fitness studio and Flagship package for beauty salons.

Tour Premium or Tour Express 24h for hair salons?

From May 2026 we offer 360° tours for hair salons in two variants. All the flagship case studies in the portfolio (Masala, YOI Ramen, MOXO, Volver) are Tour Premium, a session shot on a full-frame DSLR, 50+ HDR shots per panorama, hand retouching, 5-7 days delivery. The new option Tour Express 24h is a fast tour with a LiDAR scanner, ready on Google Maps within 24 hours of the session, from 499 PLN net.

When Premium, when Express for hair salons

  • Premium, when you have a salon with original decor and atmosphere as part of the offer, mixed lighting that needs hand retouching or a plan to use the tour in print and ads. 8 panoramas for 1,690 PLN.
  • Express 24h, when you have a typical salon with uniform lighting (LED), simple decor, a budget below 1,000 PLN and an urgent need for the tour within 24h of the session. 8 panoramas for 899 PLN, ready the next day.

The full comparison of both variants (resolution, retouching, delivery time, pricing) is on the dedicated pages: 360° Tour Premium and Tour Express 24h.

A real project and how it usually works

What a salon tour looks like, in real terms and in general

  • Clan Barbers, Warsaw (real project). A barbershop with an Express 24h tour made from a LiDAR scan. A single 35-minute session covered the hairdressing stations, the reception and the lounge zone, and the tour reached the Google Maps profile the next day. The profile was fully optimised for photos and the tour. See the project →
  • In multi-chair salons we usually pick the Standard package (up to 8 panoramas), covering the stations, the reception, the wash area and the waiting zone. A tour on the Google Business Profile usually helps show the scale and the level of finish before a client books her first visit. This describes the mechanism, not a promise of specific numbers.
  • In barbershops with original decor a 360° tour combined with your own booking system (an alternative to Booksy) usually has one goal: to move part of the bookings from the platform to your website and profile. The client views the interior and more often books a visit directly. We calculate the real commission bill individually for your scale.

Anti-patterns

The most common mistakes in salon tours that I avoid

  • A session with clients at the stations (and hair on the floor). Clients in foils, hair from the previous cut, untidy shelves of products. I always book the session before the first morning client or during the lunch break, with 15-20 minutes for cleaning up and arranging the products on the shelves.
  • A skipped wash area and waiting zone. The tour shows only the stations, even though a client choosing a premium salon judges the whole experience of the visit (the comfort of the wash, the atmosphere of the waiting zone, the availability of coffee). I always suggest 1-2 panoramas for the wash area and the waiting zone.
  • Bad lighting (bright mirrors vs cold ceiling LEDs). The salon in the tour looks like a treatment room and loses its atmosphere. I shoot HDR and even out the white balance in post-production so that the light at the mirrors plays with the rest of the room and the colours of the products on the shelves are clear.
  • No shots of the finishing details. An upmarket client judges a salon by the details (handles, countertop materials, the quality of the chairs). I set the tripod at 155 cm and plan one panorama on a detail so that the tour communicates the level of finish, not just the layout of the room.

After the project

What happens next after the tour, step by step

Step 1 (integration with Google Business Profile): via Street View Studio I publish the tour on the salon's GBP within 24-48h of the session. A profile with a complete tour boosts the ranking in the top 3 on Google Maps for queries like "hairdresser [district]" or "barber shop [city]", which translates directly into the number of booking calls.

Step 2 (embed on the website and in social media): you get the iframe code and a direct link. You embed the tour in the salon page hero, in Instagram stories (link in bio), in the mailing to your client base. In the Standard and Premium packages the embed on the website is included in the price.

Step 3 (monitoring views and first visits): every month I check GBP Insights and how many tour views turn into a call. A good premium salon in the city centre gathers 1,500-4,000 tour views a month, every 100 views being on average 2-4 first bookings from new clients.

Step 4 (when to refresh): it is worth renewing the tour after a salon renovation, a change of decor (new chairs, a new wash area), the addition of a SPA zone or a treatment room, and at a rebranding. In practice a premium salon refreshes the tour every 2-3 years, a barbershop with original decor after a bigger redesign.
