360° virtual tour on Google Maps · Lokal360

This is how your venue looks
on Google Maps.

A customer looks you up on Google and sees only a few phone photos. They cannot tell what the inside looks like, so they open a competitor's profile. A 360° virtual tour closes that gap: the customer steps into your venue straight from your Google listing, with no effort from you, no updates, no fees. I work with companies, venues and private individuals (including cottage and apartment rentals). Igor's tour for Masala Indian Restaurant, 25,000 views in 2 months, at a cost of 6 groszy each.

Wondering how your own venue would look in a tour like this? The best way is to see it live. This is YOI Ramen, an original ramen bar in Elektrownia Powisle (Dobra 40, Warsaw), 4.6 from 263 Google reviews, one of our reference projects. Click play, turn around, see the interior, the bar, the tables. The controls are identical to the ones on your Google profile. Lazy load, so the page loads fast even if you do not click.

Three screens separate the customer
from deciding „let's go”.

The customer types a phrase, taps the listing, opens the tour. Three screens, a few seconds. On each of them, the 360° tour increases the chance the customer moves forward: they see the tour badge, an interior preview, and the first panorama inviting them inside.

Five fears I hear
when ordering a tour.

The 360° tour is a new category in Poland, most venue owners see it at their competitors but do not know how the process works. The five most common questions.

„My venue is small, does a tour make sense for 25 m²?”

Answer

A small cafe / clinic is the perfect scenario for the Express 24h tour from 499 PLN, 3 panoramas are more than enough to show the whole interior. A tour in a small venue looks better than in a large guesthouse, because the customer sees „everything at once” and judges it at a glance. A smaller venue = a shorter session = a lower price.

„I have ordinary photos on my Google listing, is that enough?”

Answer

An ordinary photo shows one angle. A 360° tour lets the customer walk around the entire venue, feel the space, the atmosphere and the lighting. Google sees this: listings with a tour get on average 25-35% more views than those with photos alone. A tour also builds trust, because the customer sees the real interior.

„What if I change the decor / replace the furniture in a year?”

Answer

Most tours live 3-5 years without an update (customers are not that sensitive to changes like new chairs). A full re-shoot is included in the price of the relevant package, I come back, we do the update, we publish. Or: in the long run we plan a session 1-2 times in the first year, and only then every 3-5 years.

„I am afraid the session will disrupt service, I have no „empty hours”.”

Answer

The Mini session (3 panoramas) takes 30-45 min, Standard (8 panoramas) 1-2 hours. We work outside business hours (an empty frame, a better-looking tour) or during a daytime lull (e.g. 2:00 PM for a restaurant). Gear: a 360° camera on a tripod, no flash, no crew, 1 person, almost unnoticeable.

„Can I try it myself, buy a 360° camera and do it?”

Answer

You can, but a tour requires a 360° camera (3,000-6,000 PLN), a tripod, post-production software and a few months of practice. Plus the stages: session, stitching panoramas, removing the tripod from the frame, HDR correction, retouching, publishing. Gear + training + your own time usually comes out more expensive than 499 PLN for the Express tour, where you get a finished tour 24h from the session.

Two 360° tour options,
plus the full Komplet.

Express 24h is fast and cheaper (LiDAR scanner, ready the next day). Premium is pricier and slower, but you get studio quality (DSLR, manual HDR retouching). Each with 3 sizes inside, one-time price, no subscription.

360° virtual tour for your industry

Every industry uses the 360° tour differently: a restaurant sells atmosphere, a clinic builds patient trust, a shop shortens the path from online to offline. For the most common industries we have dedicated pages with concrete examples, pricing and answers to questions:

360° virtual tours on Google Maps. How it works step by step

Most small businesses have only a few phone photos on their Google listing, yet a customer wants to see what the inside really looks like before they visit. This is where 360° virtual tours, also called 3D tours, come in. It is an official Google Business Profile feature, available since 2010 and heavily refreshed in 2024. Anyone who finds you on Google Maps can step into your venue in Street View mode and move through the rooms, rotating the view a full 360 degrees, up and down. It is not a decoration, a high-quality tour genuinely helps you rank higher in maps. The cost of a virtual tour is a one-time expense, and you will find the price list for both options (Express 24h and Premium) in the section above.

Google virtual tours show up in three places at once: in the Google search results (by the company name), in the Google Maps app (on phone and on desktop) and in Street View (here the tour shows most strongly, because Google presents interiors as a natural extension of Street View from the street).

Step by step, how a tour gets onto Google Maps

  1. Session at the venue, 30-90 minutes, a Matterport Axis camera on a tripod. Each point is one 360° panorama.
  2. HDR post-production, 24-48 hours: I combine several different brightness levels of one shot, fix the lighting, remove staff from the frame if the session was during opening hours.
  3. Stitching the panoramas into a tour and adding the points the customer moves between rooms with.
  4. Publishing in Google Maps via Street View Studio, straight onto the customer's listing (Google does not have to verify it, because a certified photographer does it).
  5. Google shows the tour, 24-48 hours, during this time the tour gradually appears in all Google places.
  6. The tour works forever, no monthly fees, no subscription. I do not charge any "monthly tour hosting", only dishonest companies bill that kind of fee.

What Google rewards in virtual tours

Google has named the things that decide whether your 360° tour jumps into the top three in maps: listing completeness (whether the tour shows all the important places in the venue), panorama sharpness (the higher the better, Premium panoramas are sharper), a correctly connected tour (the right listing, the blue line, quality that passes moderation) and freshness (a tour refreshed every year or two does better than an old one from 2020).

In practice most small businesses neglect at least several of these things. This is a real opportunity for any business that orders a tour from an experienced provider. Igor Bily, founder of Lokal360, has over 150 360° tours on Google Maps and 31 reviews 5.0 to his name.

360° virtual tours for Poland's main cities

Lokal360 serves the whole country, but in the main cities I have dedicated pages with local projects and specifics:

If you live in a smaller town, I serve you too, travel across Poland is included in the package price. Leave your number in the form below, I will call back with a concrete quote for your location.

City plus industry, 18 dedicated pages

For the most common city plus industry combinations we built separate pages with local examples, a list of districts, pricing and answers to questions. A customer searching for e.g. "360 tour for a restaurant in Warsaw" lands straight on a page matched to their situation.

Premium Tour vs Express Tour 24h. Two packages, two workflows

Since May 2026 Lokal360 makes 360° virtual tours in two variants: the flagship Premium Tour (DSLR camera, manual editing and retouching) and the new, fast Express Tour 24h (LiDAR scanner and automatic editing). I publish both on Google Maps in Google Maps via Street View Studio, both with a publishing guarantee, both across all of Poland with travel included.

In short: if your venue has original decor, tricky lighting and you want to use the tour in VR goggles, in print or in ads, choose the Premium Tour. If you have a typical service or hospitality venue, a smaller budget or you need the tour right now (in 24h), choose the Express Tour 24h. You will find the details of both on their pages.

Matterport or Google Street View? What to choose for a 360° tour

For a local business that wants more customers from Google, the better choice is a tour in Google Street View, not Matterport. I publish a Street View tour straight onto your Google Maps listing, right where the customer is looking for you anyway, you pay once and the tour stays forever. Matterport is a separate 3D model with measurements and a view of the whole interior like a model from above, it works on a monthly fee and you embed it on your own site. It does not show up on its own in Google Maps, which is why it works mainly for real estate, on construction sites and for documenting large spaces.

In the shortest terms: Street View shows you where the customer is already looking, while a customer still has to be brought to Matterport. You can have both (for example a premium real estate office), but for an ordinary restaurant, salon or clinic the Street View tour alone pays off faster and without a fixed monthly fee.

The full comparison with a table and a 5-year cost calculation: Matterport or Google Street View, what to choose in 2026. Do you specifically need a Matterport 3D model for real estate or documentation? See the 3D scanning service. You will also find the meaning of both in the 360° tour glossary.

360° virtual tour,
frequently asked questions.

What a tour is, how much it costs, how long delivery takes and where it gets published. The four things customers ask about most often before they order.

01 / 04 What is a 360° virtual tour?

A 360° virtual tour is an official Google Business Profile feature that lets a customer view the inside of your venue in Street View mode. 02 / 04 How much does a 360° virtual tour cost?

The price of a virtual tour at Lokal360 starts from 499 PLN net for the Express Tour 24h (3 panoramas, LiDAR scanner), and the Premium Tour with a DSLR camera and manual HDR retouching from 890 PLN net. The cost of a virtual tour depends on the number of panoramas and the chosen variant. It is a one-time fee, with no subscription and no commission. You will find the full price list above.

03 / 04 How long does it take to make a virtual tour?

The session at the venue takes from 30 to 90 minutes. The Express Tour 24h is ready and published on Google Maps the day after the session, and the Premium Tour with full post-production in 5-7 business days.

04 / 04 Where is the 360° virtual tour published?
