Beauty salon without Booksy.
Your base, your rules.

Booksy takes 130 PLN every month from each specialist, before/after photos go to servers in the USA, clients find you through booksy.com and not directly with you. Your own client records on a Polish server (GDPR), your own website, Google Business Profile on the map, 360° tour. A 4-person studio saves ~6,240 PLN a year after switching from Booksy.

In brief

A complete online presence for a beauty salon means a website with commission-free online booking, client records, a 360° interior tour in Google Maps and a Google Business Profile, all from one provider instead of paying commissions to platforms like Booksy. A business website from 2 499 PLN, a booking system with records from 4 499 PLN, and your client base stays with you.

  • Online booking in your own system: 0 percent commission on new clients, the base stays with you (instead of Booksy or Fresha).
  • Client records with visit history and photos from 4 499 PLN (podiatry, cosmetics, massage, hairdressing).
  • A 360° interior tour in Google Maps builds a client's trust before the first visit.

Six services, one hub.
Each with a dedicated page.

Click a service and you land on its full page with a description, examples and case studies. Client records are the foundation and the main alternative to Booksy. The remaining services build visibility in your area and an edge over the competition around it.

Three migration stages,
zero risk of losing clients.

The most common worry: „my clients vanished when I left Booksy”. The solution, a gradual, mixed migration. Booksy keeps working while your own records collect new clients in parallel. The full migration path is described on the client records page, here is a summary.

Week 1-2

Parallel setup

We build your records and import the base from Booksy (from a file). Booksy keeps running in parallel, zero break in serving clients.

Month 1-3

Hybrid

New clients book through your system, the old ones stay in Booksy. 30-50% of visits are already in your panel. Before/after photos of new treatments go to the Polish server.

Month 4+

Booksy off

All active clients are already with you. You switch off the subscription, 130 PLN × N people × 12 months stays in your pocket. The setup cost pays back in 5-7 months.

Three real projects
from beauty and podiatry.

PodoSisters and a podiatry practice are real deployments with a GDPR requirement for medical photos. Clan Barbers is a barbershop with an Express 24h tour. Three projects you can check, each with a different salon profile.

A 2-3 person beauty salon,
four components, one bill.

You have 2-3 specialists, you pay Booksy for each one and your client base is not yours. This set closes that: Records Team as the foundation, a website with online booking, a Google Business Profile for visibility on Maps, the Mini tour for atmosphere. Full control, GDPR, zero Booksy subscription.

BLIK and cards on your site,
without platform commission.

You can accept deposits and full payments straight on your site. The operator account is yours, money goes directly to you, I only do the integration. I am not a party to the transaction and I do not hold your funds.

1

You open an operator account

Przelewy24 or Stripe, in your company name. Zero subscription, you pay only a percentage per transaction.

2

I plug it into the site

BLIK, cards and instant transfers at checkout on your site. The guest pays in seconds, without a detour to an external service with commission.

3

Money lands with you

Straight from the operator to your bank account. No middleman, no booking platform commission.

Przelewy24default for PL

  • BLIK (most popular in Poland), cards, 200+ banks
  • PLN 0 activation, no subscription
  • Operator commission approx. 1.2-1.5% per transaction
  • Cheapest entry for a small business

Stripecards and abroad

  • Cards, BLIK, Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • PLN 0 activation, ready-made hosted checkout
  • Good for higher amounts and guests from abroad
  • Fixed fee on every transaction, less profitable for small amounts

Why it's worth it: Booking takes 15-18% of every reservation, Booksy charges a monthly subscription. A payment gateway takes about 1.2-1.5% per transaction and nothing more. On a PLN 600 payment that is the difference between over PLN 100 going to the platform and about PLN 8 in operator fees. The rest stays with you.

You are the seller, so the terms, returns and GDPR are on your side. I help complete them during implementation.

Six typical questions
for beauty salons.

The worries we hear from beauticians, podiatrists and studio owners before migrating. Each one answered without boilerplate.

„Will migrating from Booksy put off my regular clients?”

Answer

No, the migration is gradual, not overnight. Booksy runs in parallel for 3 months. Regulars book as before, new ones register through your system. After 3 months 30-50% of visits are already in your panel, only then do you switch off the subscription. Full migration process →

„What about GDPR and before/after photos on Booksy?”

Answer

Booksy on the Polish plan does not meet GDPR requirements for medical photos, servers in the USA, no access log, limited data export. The Lokal360 records keep photos on a server in Germany (within the EU), with GDPR consents signed digitally and a full access log (who, when, which photos they viewed). Important for a podiatrist, aesthetic medicine, therapeutic massage. When the data protection authority shows up for an audit, you have the documentation.

„I already have good salon photos, do I still need a 360° tour?”

Answer

Photos show angles, a tour shows the atmosphere. A premium client (treatments of 200+ PLN) judges the salon before the visit, whether it is clean, atmospheric, professional. A 360° tour gives +60% more bookings compared with photos alone (Google report). For a solo beautician at home it is overkill, for a premium studio / clinic / SPA it is a requirement. Mini 890 PLN = 3-4 panoramas, Standard 1 690 PLN = 8 panoramas.

„I am solo. Records Solo or Team?”

Answer

Solo (4 499 PLN) for 1 specialist, up to 500 active clients, a beautician at home, a solo podiatrist, a masseuse. Team (6 999 PLN) for 2-5 specialists with separate calendars, roles and schedules, a typical 3-4 person beauty studio. Network (11 999 PLN) for multi-location with no limit, franchises, salon chains. The rule: if you plan to hire a second person this year, take Team right away.

„Booksy raised the price by 40%, what now?”

Answer

Booksy raises prices on average every 18-24 months. A 4-specialist studio after 2 hikes = 700+ PLN/mo = 8,400 PLN/year. The Records Team setup is 6 999 PLN one-time + 0 subscription, a return on the investment in 10-12 months. Every further Booksy hike works in your favour (you no longer pay). Plus your client base stays with you, not in a competitor's app.

„Does the website automatically pull photos from the records?”

Answer

Yes, the „Results / Portfolio” gallery on the website automatically shows the before/after photos from the records marked as public. You add a new case in the records (with the client's signed GDPR consent) → the website updates instantly. No manual uploading in two places. Plus an optional Instagram connection, automatic posts with result photos.

Real beauty projects

How we work in beauty salons, on real examples

Two real projects from beauty and podiatry that you can check, plus a model showing how we combine a tour with advertising. We describe projects with facts from the deployment, without adding results we did not measure.

PodoSisters, Warsaw Powisle (cosmetic and podiatry salon). The Express tour covered reception, treatment rooms, the sterilisation area and the waiting room. The podiatry part required a GDPR-compliant workflow: uniform LED lighting and a session after opening hours, with no patients in the frame. The tour went to the Google Business Profile, where clients view the practice on Maps before they book. See the project →

Clan Barbers, Warsaw (barbershop). An Express 24h tour from a LiDAR scan covered the hairdressing stations, reception and lounge zone. A single 35-minute session, published on Google Maps the next day, the Google profile fully optimised visually. We use the same approach in hairdressing and cosmetic salons. See the project →

A 360° tour in a Meta ad. A 360° panorama of the interior and a short clip from a workstation are material that usually stands out against static photos in a Meta ad. A simple pattern works here, movement and depth most often catch the eye in the feed more strongly than a single photo. The actual effect depends on the offer, the budget and the area, so we calculate it individually rather than promising it up front.

What I avoid

The most common mistakes in beauty salons, which I avoid

  1. Booksy only, with no website of your own. You hand your client data to a platform (which tomorrow may raise the subscription or change the terms), you lose remarketing and you do not build a brand in Google. Lokal360: your own website with a direct booking module, Booksy as a supplementary channel, not the main one.
  2. No online portfolio or Instagram instead of a website. A client wants to see results before the visit. Instagram is not indexed in Google, it disappears from feeds after a week, it gets lost in the algorithm. Lokal360: a projects tab on the website with categories (nails, brows, hairstyles, bridal makeup), photos indexed in Google Images.
  3. No tour showing the salon's atmosphere. Beauty is an experience industry. A client books where the atmosphere looks cosy and clean. A competitor with a 360° tour looks more professional. Lokal360: a Premium tour with HDR showing reception, treatment rooms, the waiting area.
  4. A Google Business Profile without fresh photos. A beauty profile with no photos from the last 6 months is a "the salon is dying" signal. A client picks a salon with a fresh gallery and new reviews. Lokal360: 6 months of active care with new project photos added once a week.
  5. No client records of your own. All contacts kept on an external platform = dependency. When the platform disappears, the clients disappear. Lokal360: your own client base on the client's website (mailing list, visit history, gift voucher system), full ownership of the data.

After launch

What happens after launch, step by step

Week 1: Google starts indexing the salon website. I check Google Search Console, approve the sitemap, verify the 360° tour in the Google Maps profile. First appearances in search for branded queries (salon name plus city).

Month 1: Google shows the site for branded queries. The 360° tour appears in the Google profile. The first 20-40 profile views a day. The first direct bookings through the module on the website (instead of Booksy).

Month 3: Google has ranking signals. Appearing in the top 3 on Google Maps for "salon X plus district", "podiatry plus city" queries. 100-200 profile views a day. Growth in new client visits of around 25-40%.

Month 6: Stable top 10 positions for niche queries ("bridal makeup Mokotow", "children's podiatrist Tricity"). The 360° tour generates 30-40% more clicks to the profile. The mailing list collects 80-150 addresses (a base for seasonal campaigns).

What happens next? The Care package (149 PLN a month) keeps the site fast and updates the service pricing. Adding new treatments to the offer as you expand the portfolio. Seasonal pages (lasers for summer, New Year's glamour, Valentine's for couples) for campaigns.
