A Google Trusted Photographer is a photographer certified under the Street View Trusted program, authorized to publish photos and 360° tours directly onto a company's Google Business Profile listing, with no Google moderation. A Google Trusted Photographer is not an ordinary photographer,
it is the right to publish on Maps.
The difference is one thing, but it is the decisive one. An ordinary photographer will take beautiful photos, but cannot place them as a 360° tour on your Google listing. Only a Google Trusted Photographer (Street View Trusted) can do that, because Google grants them direct publishing access to the business profile.
The Street View Trusted program (in Polish „Zaufany Fotograf Google") is an official Google certification. A photographer with this status can publish a 360° tour straight onto a client\'s Google Business Profile, visible right away in Google Maps and Search, with no review and no middlemen. That is why the phrase „Google photographer" in practice refers to this exact person.
What does it give you as a business: the tour and photos go where the customer makes the decision, that is, onto your Maps listing. Google considers a listing with a full set of photos and a 360° tour to be complete, and is therefore more willing to show it in the top three on the map. A venue without photos and a tour loses that spot to a competitor from the same neighbourhood that has them.

How to check whether a photographer is really a Google Trusted Photographer
The phrase „Google photographer" gets misused, so it is worth verifying the status before you order a tour. A real Google Trusted Photographer meets four Google conditions: a verified account, the right number of published 360° tours on company listings, active tours on Maps, and a profile listed in the Street View directory. The simplest check: ask for a link to a real tour published on someone\'s listing in Maps, and verify it opens directly in Google.
